On Wednesday January 6, we presented our 3rd tasting tour of noodles held all over the city. The evening event started off at the beautiful Platform 7 Cafe in Kitsilano where guests had a chance to enjoy a coffee beverage made with Stumptown Coffee.
Each of the restaurants participating had served up a couple of different noodle dishes as Tasting Bowls or Plates for guests to enjoy. Guests then had a chance to visit many different types of restaurants throughout the event, meet some new food loving friends, meet the chefs, and learn about each of the participating restaurants.
Pho (Phở) Bo – Hanoi Breakfast – Beef noodle soup with braised beef flank and rice noodles
Pho Xao – Vegetarian – Stir fried rice noodles with greens, organic oyster mushrooms, marinated tofu and fresh herbs
Squash Ravioli with sage and brown butter
Housemade Gnocchi on a smoked chicken and mushroom ragout
Zen Salad Roll – rice paper wrapped with vermicelli and fresh veggies
Pho – beef noodle soup

Guay Tieow Tom Kha Gai — Noodle chicken coconut soup with flat rice noodles
U and I Spaghetti Kee Mao –with chicken
Bubble Waffle Cafe
Wan Chai Noodle – Beef noodle soup

The restaurants featured many unique and tasty noodle dishes to our guests throughout the event.
