Our latest Dumpling Fest dining tour took place in downtown Vancouver on November 8 at these restaurants and here are the tasty plates they served. #DumplingFestYVR

We also featured a VIP Experience where guests were treated to a demo on how Middle Eastern Falafel are made from scratch with Chef Ofra of Ofra’s Kitchen and then they enjoyed a delicious falafel and hummus plate.

At Jingle Bao Restaurant it was all about a Chinese and Taiwanese experience and they featured their soup dumplings and paired it with Wakame and a sampling of their Taiwanese salt and pepper chicken.

They also served the following flavors of soup dumplings

  1. Crab
  2. Classic/Original
  3. Garlic
  4. Mushroom Truffle
  5. Chocolate
  6. Vegetable
  7. Spicy

 

At Toloache Mexican Kitchen it was a Mexican experience and they featured a Tamale trio with these varieties:

  1. Brisket with black bean
  2. Guacamole and fresco cheese
  3. Chicken with Mole

At C Prime Modern Italian Steakhouse they featured an Italian experience with their Caramelle with summer corn, pancetta, cacio pepe and pecorino and (they featured on optional wine pairing)

At Chai Ghai they featured an Indian experience with their Butter chicken samosa, and vegetarian samosa (potato & peas).,both served with a tamarind dipping sauce.

It was another fun night for everyone to visit the participating restaurants and eat some unique and tasty dumplings.
