Our Art, Eat and Sip Mount Pleasant event as part of the Dine Out Vancouver Festival was a great success on January 25 where guests had a chance to explore the nieghbourhood and enjoy many different types of food, drink and art experiences.
We had a special VIP session earlier that evening at Tamaly Shop and featured artist Clarissa Banos along with Chef Maria; they talked art, did some drawing and then showcased the making of their tamales and had everyone make their own tamales.
The restaurants served up tasty eats that included:
Tamaly Shop featured a Food and Art Experience: “Corn and Cacao: A magical night of exquisite flavours, beautiful art and cultural traditions” serving Mexican Chocolate, Tamal Pastor and Huitlacoche.
Maizal RMF served Taquitos in a Mole poblano.
Pizza Rubato served up personal size pizzas or slices that included some of their favourites such as their Pistachio pizza and the Chicken Jalapeno and more.
Trees Cheesecake & Organic Coffee served up tasters of their cheesecake flavors, pastries, and organic coffee.
At the City Centre Artist Lodge they featured a selection of art studios, some with food or drink and others without.
Lukas Lundberg featured Chai Ghai who served hot chai as guests were able to see the art.
Paulo O’Connor featured his art.
Mallory Donen featured her art along with Kizzy’s Macarons who served guests her flavours of macarons.
Niki Brown featured her art along with Amoka Coffee & Bites baked goodies that included cinnamon buns, almond croissants, loaves and more and sourdough toasts with homemade guava jam.
Enigma Arcana featured their art.
Elana Sigal featured her art.
Hayley Crichton featured her Nomad Candles.
Tracy Anne Northey featured her art.
It was a wonderful night showcasing some of the best in food, drink and art in Mount Pleasant.
