For 24 years Trees Organic Coffee has been doing all the right things to keep coffee, and the café experience, traditional. Originally started in 1996 on Granville Street, Trees quickly became a Vancouver favorite and a destination for great coffee, amazing cheesecake and that classic Canadian customer service. Today we continue those great traditions, never losing sight of the fact that above all else, we provide comfort, a home away from home and a warmth that keeps our friends and neighbors coming back again and again, year after year.
La Loteria
1011 Granville St, Vancouver
Instagram @laloteria.vancouver
Cuisine: Mexican Street Food
La Loteria, the name of la Loteria comes from the famous Mexican “bingo” game. The game is composed of “boards” with different characters instead of numbers in the regular bingo. When a person wins in the game, he/she would yell “Loteria!”. La Loteria Mexican Street Food is looking to commemorate that traditional game and use it as a representative of the Mexican culture and identification.
We are featuring our unique and authentic cuisine options: tamales, tostadas and tortas. La Loteria serves the typical food that we can find in Monterrey city streets here, on the busy streets of Vancouver. We are bringing those unique flavours that can transport you to the North of Mexico and delight your taste buds, satisfy your belly, but most importantly, your heart.
