We presented our first Dumpling Fest dining tour in Edmonton on November 5 at these restaurants and here are the tasty plates they served.
Vish @vishcanada (10326 124 St, Edmonton) featured a Surprise Falafel Bowl’ featuring three types of falafel:
• Green – the traditional falafel
• White – a green falafel ball with a melted tahini filling
• Falafel Meatball – a green falafel with beef filling
• OG Hummus
• Tahini
• Chopped Salad
• Quarter Pita Bread
Thamel Eatery @thameleatery (12413 118 Ave NW, Edmonton) featured
Nepalese Chaat Momos filled with chicken (deep fried, pan-fried and steamed)
Sadeko Momos
Chow Mein
Butter chicken and naan
Lochi Afro Nija @lochiafronija (10335 100 Avenue NW, Edmonton) featured
Puff Puff – is a popular nigerian snack of fried dough balls that are soft and fluffy.
Chin Chin – Is a Nigeria snack of small crunchy sweet fried dough pieces or strips.
Meat pie – is a nigeria flaky pastry, filled with spiced mixture of ground beef, potatoes and carrot.
Jollof Rice – is a nigeria dish typically made with grains , tomatoes, bell peppers, spices, onions, peppers etc
Fried Rice – is a nigeria grain rice cooked in stock, and a combination of vibrant vegetables are fried then toasted together with the cooked rice.
Beef meat – spiced up in some sauce
Maria Northern Mexico Cuisine @maria_restaurantca (10220 103 St NW, Edmonton) featured a Beef Chimichanga, Taco el Pastor and Tortilla Soup.

It was another fun night for everyone to visit the participating restaurants and eat some unique and tasty dumplings.
