We presented our first Dumpling Fest dining tour in Calgary on November 6 at these restaurants and here are the tasty plates they served.

Calgary Momo House @calgarymomohouse (20 Crowfoot Crescent NW #410, Calgary) featured
Steam momo, tandoori momo, chilli momo, fried momo and timur momo.

Grumans Deli @grumansdeli (5103 Elbow Dr SW, Calgary) featured:

Potato Verenikes: a close cousin to the better known Pieorgie, our Verenikes are filled with potato and onion, served with more caramelised onions on top and a dollop of sour cream.
Smoked Meat Knish: flaky puff pastry filled with Montreal Smoked meat and baked til golden brown, served with classic yellow mustard for dipping.
Matzo Ball Shooters: a cocktail sized matzo Ball served with a shot of Bubby’s famous Chicken broth.

Om Cuisine of India @om.cuisineofindia (3829 Bow Trl SW, Calgary) featured Vegetable Samosa filled with potatoes, peas and fresh spices.

Malai Kofta filled with paneer cooked in a creamy sauce with fragrant herbs and spices served over rice.

Gulab Jamun golden milk ball soaked in sweet saffron syrup.

Amihan Grill and Bakeshop @amihan.grill.bakeshop (1011 1 St SW Unit #100, Calgary) featured

Lumpia (Pork spring roll, sweet-chili sauce)

Crispy Siomai (Fried pork-shrimp dumpling, lemon-soy, chili-garlic)

Kwek-kwek (Crispy battered quail egg, atchara-slaw)

It was another fun night for everyone to visit the participating restaurants and eat some unique and tasty dumplings.
